The Ark was built from charitable funds and public donations raised by the North Hampshire Medical Education Trust and officially opened in March 2003 by Lord Lieutenant of Hampshire.
The Ark Conference Centre has been created to focus on the concept of delivering "a centre of excellence for the sharing and accumulation of medical knowledge" and serve as a dedicated conference facility for business events locally, in Basingstoke and North Hampshire, and nationally.
All revenues earned are reinvested in The Ark, enabling us to achieve our long-term vision of helping to fund medical training and offering support to the healthcare community as a whole in Hampshire and beyond.
